AvtoGazTransServis is a small integrated team with approximately 50 professionals between the headquarters and operational offices. Functionally headcount is split approximately 15% senior management, 25% business administration, and 60% technical.
Our Management Team has over 160 years of combined professional experience in the oil and gas industry. Our AvtoGazTransServis leadership possesses an ideal combination of global and Kazakhstan based experience which allows us to quickly identify key issues and generate solutions allowing the organization to make continuous progress towards our common goal of value creation.
Guzenko Irina Aleksandrovna
General Director
Guzenko Irina Aleksandrovna has been working in the petroleum industry for more than 25 years in such locations as Germany, UAE, Russia, and Latvia. In 2010, she left DEME and began a career as an executive of start-up oil and gas companies. She has served as COO of Valkyries Petroleum, GM of Harvest Natural Resources Russia, COO of Lundin Petroleum Russia.
Mrs. Guzenko Irina Aleksandrovna joined AvtoGazTransServis LLP in March of 2022. Irina has a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Ufa State Petroleum Technological University.
Yevgeniy Ismailov
Commercial and Administrative Affairs Director
Yevgeniy Ismailov became AvtoGazTransServis' Commercial and Administrative Affairs Director in March 2024.
Mr. Ismailov has 25 years of experience working in joint ventures between international oil companies and the Kazakhstani National Company "KazMunayGas".
Before joining AvtoGazTransServis, Mr. Ismailov held several key leadership positions, including CEO of "Caspi Meruerty Operating Company" (a joint venture between Shell, KazMunayGas, and Oman Oil) and COO of "Ural Oil and Gas" (a joint venture between MOL Group, KazMunayGas, SINOPEC).
Mr. Ismailov has two bachelor's degrees in business administration from Moscow State University.
Zharmukhanova Sara
Chief Financial Officer
Zharmukhanova Sara joined AvtoGazTransServis as Chief Financial Officer in 2011 and has over 20 years of finance expertise, including stints with big firms such as Maersk and Ernst & Young. Mrs. Zharmukhanova has considerable international experience working for the Maersk Group in a variety of capacities, including Maersk SeaLand in the United Kingdom and Maersk Logistics MEA in the UAE. Mrs. Zharmukhanova previously served as CFO for Maersk Oil Kazakhstan GmbH's Almaty business, where she oversaw financial and information technology functions.
She holds an MBA from KIMEP University in Kazakhstan and an MA in Banking in Transition Economies from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom. Mrs. Zharmukhanova is also a fellow in good standing of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants.
Dzhalairov Bakhytzhan
Exploration Director
Dzhalairov Bakhytzhan joined AvtoGazTransServis in 2011, and served as CEO from 2014 to 2022. Mr. Dzhalairov has more than 20 years of worldwide upstream expertise, having worked on North Sea projects for Charterhouse Petroleum, Petrofina, and Gazprom Russia. Mr. Dzhalairov also has a long history of success in developing lucrative oil and gas portfolios in the CIS region. Prior to joining AvtoGazTransServis, Mr. Dzhalairov was a founding Director of Roxi Petroleum PLC (now Caspian Sunrise PLC), where he previously served as Technical Director from 2006 to 2011.
Mr. Dzhalairov earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University). Mr. Dzhalairov was a founding member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers' Almaty Chapter.
